Underwater VR that trains cognitive control through biofeedback.

Music that makes you want to move, the groove response, reliably shifts arousal and attention. Tipsea Dipsea puts that effect inside a Stroop-style cognitive task in an underwater VR world, and closes the loop with the player’s own physiology.

Performance and physiological state drive the environment, so the training target is not just the right answer but the state the player reaches it from. It took the Silicio Labs industry prize at NeuroHacks 2024.
